Semblanza
Licenciatura en Biología en la Facultad de Ciencias de la UNAM. Doctorado en el Departamento de Botánica de la Universidad de Edimburgo en Gran Bretaña. Postdoctorado en el Departamento de Biología de la Universidad de California en los Ángeles, Estados Unidos. Desde 1988 trabajando en el Departamento de Ingeniería Genética del Cinvestav Irapuato.
