Química Supramolecular, Rotaxanos y Catenanos, Máquinas Moleculares, Reconocimiento Molecular

  • Moléculas entrelazadas y entrecruzadas como precursores de nuevos materiales, máquinas, motores y dispositivos moleculares.
  • Diseño, auto-ensamble y caracterización de nuevos sistemas supramoleculares incorporando metales de transición y/o cationes orgánicos con diversas moléculas cíclicas.
  • Estudio de las interacciones no covalentes que mantienen unidos a los complejos supramoleculares del tipo: pseudorotaxano, rotaxano, polirotaxano y catenano.
  • Estudio del movimiento relativo de los componentes moleculares que forman parte de los complejos supramoleculares mediante estímulos químicos, electroquímicos y fotoquímicos.
